Kevin brings three decades of maritime leadership across Asia, Europe and North America, with an exceptional track record of driving commercial success through periods of significant market transformation. His deep understanding of fleet operations and charterer relationships will be invaluable as we scale our solutions across global shipping networks.

Most recently serving as President & CEO of Teekay Tankers Ltd from 2014 to 2024, Kevin led a successful NYSE listed company, with large-scale global operations, executing complex commercial strategies, and navigating volatile market conditions during a period of unprecedented industry change. Based in Singapore, he will advise Ocean Intelligence on commercial strategy, strategic partnerships, and accelerating adoption with owners and charterers worldwide.

Kevin’s distinguished career includes pivotal leadership roles across the maritime value chain:

• Global Marine Business Leader at Phillips 66: Driving commercial strategy for one of the world’s largest refining companies
• General Manager, Commercial Marine at ConocoPhillips: Managing commercial marine operations for a leading international energy company
• Regional Director – Americas (SVP) at AET (American Eagle Tankers): Leading regional expansion and commercial growth
• Early Career at Neptune Orient Lines in Singapore: Building foundational expertise in Asian maritime markets

Kevin holds a B.Sc. (Econ) (Hons) from the London School of Economics & Political Science and has contributed significantly to industry standards through his service as Vice Chairman and Executive Committee member of INTERTANKO and as a Board Director of the International Tanker Owners Pollution Federation (ITOPF), focusing on safety and environmental performance.

At Ocean Intelligence, we leverage high-resolution satellite data, AI-powered route optimisation, and dynamic ocean analytics to help shipping companies achieve fuel savings of up to 20% while reducing emissions. As shipping navigates EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime and accelerating decarbonisation requirements, Kevin’s owner/operator-side perspective and extensive network will help us secure customers, scale across fleets, and translate measurable fuel and emissions savings into strong commercial outcomes.
